Bought part of an old bowling alley lane for a workshop countertop. After picking it up I realized it had been handled roughly and had re-attach two pieces to make it wide enough for a countertop. Other pieces had been drug across it. But I decided to give it a try and bought it. After assembly, needed a way to get it flat and the top surface cleaned up. I called Old-Mill Custom Woodworking to see if they could help. They were great and explained they had a large belt sander that could accommodate the countertop, went over the pricing and we arranged a time to stop by. They helped me get the pieces flat, and it took more passes than we initially thought, but they didn’t stop until the countertop was flat and smooth. They were great to work with. The 3” think sold maple countertops are very heavy and they helped me load and unload. Very knowledgeable, very friendly and fair pricing. Great experience!

Joe has sanded teak, walnut and maple butcherblock slabs from 2' to 3' wide and 6' to 12' long. When Joe gets done they are always ready to oil up with Tried and True. Any imperfections would show with this product. However, it's always been perfect. Joe, Thank you!
