Title: Poor LVP Quality & Unprofessional Sales Experience Our bathroom/shower tile installation was fantastic, and our carpet selection has met expectations. Unfortunately, our experience with the luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring was the exact opposite. This was our first new build home, and we trusted our builder’s recommendation to work with Carpetland. We were “sold” on an LVP that was pitched as a significant upgrade. We took our representative at their word, assuming we were getting a high-quality product. Less than three years later, we had to replace all of our LVP because it was coming apart. This was a $13,000 upgrade — and the original failed in under three years. Completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, our sales representative expressed personal political opinions during the process — without knowing ours — which was unprofessional and inappropriate. Warning: Just because your builder recommends a company doesn’t mean you should automatically go with them. Do your homework. In our case, we found another flooring company after this ordeal, and their reliability and customer service were far superior. We will never do business with Carpetland again.

Carpet installation was horrible. Visible seams . We will never buy carpet from them again. The whole process was a nightmare, wrong invoices and terrible installation. Now I have new carpet that looks horrible.

Had carpet installed in our house and the installer showed up in a older van that left a large oil stain on the driveway. Called them that day to let them know and said they would get it taken care of. Nothing happened until I got my install bill with a oil stain still in my driveway and called again 3rd call about it now. They sent someone out and made the driveway stain worse..

I would give them zero stars if I could. We did two $25,000 projects with them in our child development center. The first one we did in 2021 and the second shortly after that. Immediately after the first one was installed I called with issues regarding the LVT separating. They sent the installer out to fix it and we continued to have issues. They claimed it was the glue so we decided to proceed with our second project and the sales person ordered a different glue for the flooring and were supposedly working to start the warranty claim on the other project to get the correct. Well, fast forward to 2023 and our floor still looks AWFUL and they are now avoiding our phone calls. The owner has even stated "he's too busy."

My carpet was absolutely well done and installed on time. No issues whatsoever, the contractor was wonderful. My review is in regards to the severe lack of customer service. If you want this review removed, senior management must contact me directly. I have had nothing but horrible experiences trying to figure out a bill. After explaining the situation to the sales person I worked with, she stated she had no idea what I was talking about. I called multiple times and was non-stop interrupted by the call desk and was hung up on mid sentence. Three weeks ago I was promised a call within a few days as they were looking into my issues, and no call back. Yet again I got another bill with more unpaid interest added on top. I finally got my situation taken care of but this was a disaster trying to get this done. If this is how customers are treated after spending thousands of dollars? Your hold tone states customers can trust Carpetland. I'm unsure that's the case. Trust enters on foot but leaves on horseback.

This place does tile? Yep, ordered tile for our backsplash after working with Kerri on color and texture. Referred us to a great installer as well. Great experience although after reading some of the reviews, I would agree they do kinda ignore you when you walk in. They should probably work on that portion of their business. Greet everyone immediately when they come in. I would say appointment is the best method for this company because we were sent specifically to speak with Kerri by Mary from Cooper & Co on our second visit. The first time we went we were ignored and I had to interrupt a conversation between employees to ask a question. We would not have come back other than the referral after. We'll probably buy our floor here as well after we find out our fate with LL Flooring/Lumber Liquidators and their ongoing Chapter 11 with the defective floor we have now.

If I could go lower in stars I would. .they installed kitchen floor, NEVER said to wait 4 hours before putting fridge back, and the result? 3 rips and bunched up flooring... and blamed it on me!! The floor that was down before they came was CRACKED peel and stick stuff, they never even took broken stuff up, just put adhesive over it and put new down, then had the audacity to tell me if they put down a new sheet I'd have to pay for it...terrible place.....IN ANSWER TO YOUR ORDER NUMBER QUESTION..IT WAS FOR LINCOLN HOUSING...THAT INSTALLER IS A LIAR...HE CAME BACK, CAME IN..CALLED "HIS BOSS" TALKED IN HIS LANGUAGE THEN TOLD ME IT WAS MY FAULT AND NOTHING COULD BE DONE..OF COURSE I'D LIKE IT FIXED, IF YOU CAN, BUT PLEASE IF THAT INSTALLER IS JUST GONNA LIE, SEND SOMEONE ELSE...I'D APPRECIATE IT...THANK YOU....BTW...I JUST TALKED TO THE "OWNER" AND HE CLAIMS TO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS POST..AND SOUNDED COCKY AS WELL.....I HAVE CALLED AND LEFT YOU MESSAGES TO PLEASE CALL BACK...CAN YOU PLEASE CALL? PHONE # IS ON THE MESSAGES..THANK YOU......I can see you're not interested in helping to fix the problem, since your installer lied and you won't bother to return any messages...that shows just how good of service you have

I used Carpetland for LVP in the past and the crew did a great job. However, I just hired them again for new flooring on my main floor. They sent in a contractor to quote my job and said he had great flooring guys and trim guys and painters. Turns out they were all the same two guys. They made no attempt to cover appliances and furniture or block off area where they jack hammered out ceramic tile. The layers and layers and layers of dust throughout my entire house was unreal. I had to go buy a latte shop vac to try and get it removed. They butchered the trim. I’m certain I could’ve done a better job, I had to go buy more trim and hire a trim guy and a painter . The final blow was discovering areas where they cut LVP too short and left gaps around the doors and tub. The only way to correct those areas wouldn’t been to rip up a lot of flooring . Instead, they filled gaps with caulk.
