Great store, convenient yes. Can only get my Ego replacement mower blades their all the other big box stores say they have them in stock, but than say they will be delivered in 3 days if you try to buy online. Ace doesnt do that. Only issue is the staff isn't great about asking you if you need help

Had an issue with a manger and a price match @ Home Depot. Drove 5 mins here, at the front they knew exactly what isle my item would be in, and price matched with no hassle. Extremely nice and knowledge, have all my business moving forward.

I've given the paint department here a couple chances, but would not recommend anyone buy paint here. I've had problems in the past with tinted shades between cans not matching, but chalked it up to a fluke. Tonight I went in for oil primer, which I needed tinted. I found a container of oil primer marked "tintable," grabbed a swatch of the approx. color I needed, and asked them to tint it. I was told they couldn't find it in their system and they couldn't tint it. When I pointed out it's marked as tintable, they said they'd look again. After another minute, they said it wasn't in there, and they can't tint it. I asked if there's anyone they could call (such as another ace location that might have advice?), I was rudely told it was just the woman assisting me and the other associate. I understand the program requires certain inputs to mix the paint, but there was absolutely no effort made to actually get me what I needed. No effort to see if anyone else might know how to override/find a close match. At no point was there any attempt to find another product that might suit my needs or any attempt to figure out what my use case for the primer was and how we might find a solution. I went to Lowe's, and they were immediately able to help me, though we had to work together to find a suitable color because the primer could only be tinted in certain shades (which is totally understandable).

I found what I was looking for, and then some. Make sure you check out the "bargain bins", almost always I find something I can use at a decent price. Staff are great!
