Abbot’s upholstery and furniture repair is a true gem of an organization. The 3 men I’ve encountered at Abbots are exemplary in professionalism and integrity. The quality of their work is simply amazing at a fair price. I can’t say enough good things about them and I hope they never retire. I really believe they can repair any type of furniture problem and reupholster anything making it better than brand new. Many, many thanks to Dean, his brother and their co-worker!

I am never the one to write any bad feedback for anyone. But I was so inclined to do so based on one of my worst experiences with a local business here in KC, MO. Abbot furniture was assigned to my case for damages that occurred during my move. The individual named "No..." (whom it will not spell out) was extremely irresponsive to emails and phone calls. For a while he was simply ignoring my phone calls. Which I find it so hard to believe. For example: He came over to the house to do his assessment on the damages (furniture, etc). This was toward the end of the week...On his way out, he mentioned he would get his report to the claim company early the following week. After several weeks of not hearing from him, I called the claim company and they informed me that they were still waiting to hear from Abbots. After trying to reach "No.." multiple times upon this news, he finally answered. He never apologized but continued to make excuse after excuse. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Several more weeks passed and they continued to leave the me in the dark regarding the repairs. I finally called the claim company reassign this case to another company. I am dumbfounded how they get any business with this poor customer service. A phone call to update customers would literally take 1-2 minutes....... I would not recommend working with Abbots. Of course I plan on reporting this to my company. I'm sure they will pass this information along with others locally.
