Very customer oriented. I went here some time ago to purchase a slab for a live edge table. The owner meet me and personally showed me his inventory and then cut the board down to the sizes I needed. I will definitely use him again for my next project. I had fun making my first table. Trial and error.

They built us our dream home near Sioux City that I had spent a year designing. I thought a log home would be way too expensive to even consider, but our cost per square foot ended up about the same to what local contractors were quoting me for a stick built home. Zach was happy to provide me with the numbers of others for whom he had built homes and they were all very happy with him as well. He brought some great ideas to the table while building that resulted in our home being even more impressive than I had imagined. My wife and I think he is as much an artist as he is a builder. He also provided me a lot of helpful advice both before and after he finished framing the home since this was my first (and will be my only) experience as a general contractor.

My wife and I built a log home 10 years ago, it looked beautiful, but it was never sealed properly. After contacting Timber Ridge, one of the owners, Zach Weidekind came out last fall and looked over the whole house. Within a few weeks he e-mailed a detailed proposal with all work and costs. We put down a deposit to be the first in line in the spring. It took about 5 weeks, (a rainy spring) working mostly by himself with professional tools he transformed our home to looking better than new. You won't regret it.

We hired Timber Ridge Log Homes to do a house restoration on the log cabin we purchased last year. The outside of the home had been in bad shape due to neglect, having never owned a log home before we weren't sure we could get it back into the shape it should be. We contacted Timber Ridge to repair/restore some logs on our home that were beginning to rot. Timber Ridge milled new logs to match our existing logs, and the match was perfect...both size and color. They chinked and stained, and left no residual work for me to do (that's a good thing). Their price was reasonable for the high quality of the work. They get my highest recommendation; we will definitely use them again.

TRLH built us a wonderful log home several years ago. They use quality materials and their craftsmanship is top notch. They also provide an experienced, unique skill that’s one-of-a-kind. No one else in the area could have built us a similar style home. Zach and his team have provided continuous support as we’ve tackled finishing the basement and re-treating the exterior. Timber Ridge Log Homes remodeled our cabin that was built by my husband’s grandfather in the 1970’s. The cabin definitely reflected the era it was built in and Timber Ridge did an excellent job bringing it up to date while maintaining a rustic and natural look to it. Our cabin now fits perfectly along side the Platte River on one side and next to a little lake on the other. I definitely recommend their work to family and friends!

Zach did a great job on our log home inspection. He was very detailed and knowledgable. He was very affordable too. He found a lot of water stains the home inspector did not find, and I work with a ton of inspectors and chose the best one in town. Even if someone is building, I think it is wise to have Zach inspect their home.
