I have never had such a horrible experience with a service or contractor. The techs were very friendly, but the receptionist and owner were incredibly rude - both of them lied to me and gaslit me about the poor service and communication they were providing. In an attempt to sum up my experience, I had 10 sets of blinds cleaned for $800. I was told it would take two weeks and it ended up taking two months. They broke two sets of blinds and instead of disclosing this, they tried to replace the blinds, but bought the wrong size. This led to four separate installation trips, even though I specifically asked they do it in one, because I was no longer living at the house. One month in, I tried talking to the owner, but he refused to compensate me for the poor service. I simply asked for reimbursement on the two blinds that had been broken. He offered me $50 off the next service I use with them. I told him my experience did not make me inclined to use any other services, so he said he had no reason to make me happy if I wasn't a repeat customer. Luckily, I was able to get half my money back by disputing with my credit card. I see that the business continues to gaslight their unhappy customers when they leave bad reviews. If they had been upfront and helpful with me, they could have turned my experience around.

They came to provide an estimate for my elderly mother, who didn’t fully understand the process and was uncomfortable having two people in her home. This led to some miscommunication, and the manager initially decided not to service the home due to what he felt was disrespect during the explanation. I spoke with Fred, the manager, who explained the situation clearly and professionally. He clarified that they usually perform the service the same day as the estimate, and if they have to return on a different day, a new estimate is needed. Despite the initial misunderstanding, we were able to resolve everything, and they did service her home. Devin was respectful, patient, and did an amazing job. The carpet looks great. That’s why I gave them a 5-star rating — for their professionalism in resolving the issue and the excellent quality of their work.

Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Unreachable—Save Yourself the Frustration I scheduled an upholstery with this company and my initial contact was positive. They answered all my all my questions and the price quote was fair. I discussed parking concerns in advance since i live downtown parking can be an issue. I offered to pay for a meter if the garage wasn’t accessible. On the day of service, I called to confirm and gave detailed instructions, yet no one showed up at the scheduled time or contacted me. Two hours later, I called and was told they were running behind and I was next. Since I had to leave, I arranged for my concierge to provide access to my apartment and was told this was acceptable. When I returned home nothing had been cleaned. I later learned the crew left because the garage ceiling was to low to offer clearance for their vehicle. They never called or texted to ask about the alternative parking options I had already offered. Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I rescheduled. The second appointment was even worse, again, no one showed, and this time when I called, I was routed to an automated system that said there was no record of my appointment. There was no longer an option to speak with a live person, and none of my voicemails were ever returned. This was a huge waste of my time and energy. I was respectful of their time and tried to anticipate and solve problems before they happened. That effort was not returned. I’ll be giving my business to a company that values professionalism, accountability, and customer service. Update in Response to Business Owner's Comment: I believe my original review was fair and balanced. I began by complimenting your company for providing a reasonable quote and for initially answering all of my questions. However, the issue arose when the cleaners arrived and encountered a problem with my building's garage. Instead of contacting me to discuss options, they left without attempting to reach out—despite the fact that I had already offered to pay for metered parking outside the building. Had they contacted me, I would have gladly met them and handled the meter. This could have been easily resolved with a phone call, but no one reached out. Furthermore, I was never contacted to inform me that the appointment had been canceled, nor was I updated about a reschedule. I received no calls, texts, or emails from your team. Your response also failed to explain why no one showed up for the second appointment. I gave your company a second chance, but once again, no one arrived—and none of my calls or voicemails were returned. To clarify, your company was the first I contacted for this service. The second company I reached out to is fully aware of the garage clearance issue and has confirmed they will contact me if any access issues arise—exactly what your team failed to do. Lastly, your prompt reply to my public review stands in stark contrast to the lack of communication I received as a paying customer. Had you responded to my calls with the same urgency, this review might never have been necessary.

I have used Coit on multiple rental properties over the last few years. I brought them into my home to clean my air ducts and was excited for the free dryer duct cleaning special they had going on. I was satisfied with the service until the tech left and I went into my basement and found the louvered door used to access my furnace was busted apart. I didn't say anything because my wife told me not to be a complainer but then our dryer went out this month. When I went to remove the old dryer I looked at the vent and realized it clearly hadn't been cleaned when he was here in January. I called the office to request that he come back out and complete the service and was told that the owner would give me a call to discuss my concerns but it would cost $200+ to have the dryer vent cleaned. Freddy the owner ended up calling me & said there wasn’t anything he could do even though he saw on the work order that the dryer vent was suppose to be cleaned and it never was. Super unprofessional and rude. Last complaint - the tech used my bathroom a few minutes before he was done with his service. As someone who has worked in people's homes before I was always taught you NEVER use a customer's restroom. We will take our business elsewhere going forward.

Called Alicia on Black Friday who was very helpful and courteous and was able to get a crew out on Monday for duct cleaning. Terry and another gentleman came out and did an excellent job cleaning the duct vents and had top grade equipment - you'd be surprised how much buildup there is especially if you have pets -- I sure was shocked. Also did the dryer vent and maybe this happened for a reason -- it was pretty built up as well and is the #1 cause for house fires. Highly recommend having this worked on. Get your ducts cleaned with Coit -- you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience with Coit cleaning. A week ago Friday I had a set appointment they reached out to me four hours before they were scheduled to arrive an asked if they could reschedule my appointment for the following week, no problem. Got everything rescheduled, Richard showed up in the time frame he was assigned and busted his tail to complete the service for two bed rooms, living room, hallway and stairs in just over a hours time on a mid - to late Friday afternoon. His hard work and dedication to his 20 years of professional experience is greatly appreciated. I will be scheduling a appointment next spring to have my air ducts cleaned out. FIVE STARS..!!

I've had 2 experiences with this company so far and both have been great! I first had my couch and living room carpet cleaned and while the technician was here he was able to give me a quote for my upstairs carpet. I wanted to wait until the next month, and no questions asked they just saved the quote and followed up with me a few weeks later. Today Rich completed the upstairs carpet cleaning and did a fantastic job! He was even willing to retreat a spot on my sofa that I had a question about from the previous cleaning. He did a great job at explaining how my particular upholstery is dry clean only and what sort of limitations that means for them as technicians. Fantastic customer service!
