I called this company hoping to get expert guidance on installing a fireplace in my older home. I asked if someone could come out to assess the space and help determine whether a gas or wood-burning option would be feasible. Instead, I was told I had to choose a product first—without any assurance it would even work in my home. That made no sense, and when I tried to explain my concern, I was met with rudeness and zero willingness to help. They refused to come out for a quote or offer any kind of consultation. Very disappointing experience. If you're looking for thoughtful service or professional advice, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We couldn’t be happier with our new double-sided fireplace designed and installed by Fireplace Stone and Patio. We experienced great service from start to finish; beginning with Alex in the showroom, Brenden in design, Dustin and the framing crew, to Kenny and the masonry crew. They communicated with us throughout the entire process, which was truly appreciated. The end result is fabulous! We look forward to many years of enjoyment and relaxing around our fireplace.

Homeowner beware! We had a terrible experience with our dream pool build, and lets just say FS&P acted in such an unscrupulous manner that we are still reeling from the way we were treated. Long story short, our pool contractor failed to successfully complete our project, leaving it in a truly horrible state; shortly thereafter they went out of business and filed bankruptcy. We had made numerous progress payments which were more than enough for the contractor to pay FS&P for the materials they procured for our project, but they failed to do so. So after this terrible ordeal my family went through, FS&P engaged their attorney and filed a lien against our home in an effort to recover the lost revenue. I took the time to bring copies of checks to their office to prove the payments were made, but after the contractor filed bankruptcy that well was dry, so they came after us. We had no contract with Fireplace Stone and Patio, but there is a legal loophole which favors these businesses who make poor decisions in extending contractors a line of credit. Ideally that would be a lesson learned and help them make more educated decisions moving forward, but they prefer to take it out on the innocent homeowner. Please take this seriously. if your contractor is procuring material for a pool or landscaping project from Fireplace Stone and Patio, I would have both of them sign a lien release waiver before proceeding. My family is learning this the hard way... This review is honest and factual, and as such protected by the Consumer Review Fairness Act.

After initial and on-going challenges with our deck screens, we contacted the manufacturer directly. This was required because of initial resistance and ownership of the problem by the distributor (Fireplace & Patio of Nebraska). The issues have been resolved, Derek has been wonderful on the technical solution side, and the customer service side. I seriously question whether the management of Fireplace & Patio of Nebraska would have done anything had the manufacturer not contacted them directly, but Derek and the service has been wonderful since! (Revised July 15th)

Worst customer service I may have ever received. Somehow they had no idea what size we needed to make the countertop for the outdoor grill. We tried to do as much research as possible through Napoleon, but apparently found incorrect info on their site, so now the grill does not fit as it is supposed to. On top of that, one of the additional side pieces we ordered has the slide out for a propane tank, but when they installed the grill, the connection is to attach to a gas line. Why in the hell would we have paid for a propane holder if we were connecting to a gas line? They ordered the connection for us, but it is not the correct connection. They did say they were doing us a favor and would eat the cost of the new part, what a grand gesture. We basically have a $5000 outdoor paper weight instead of a grill. And it still looks like shit since the granite is not the correct size.

Not Good. We own a nice 4k sq. ft. home with a huge brick chimney, and old brick fireplace, which needs updating. The sales rep spent the entire time arguing with me about how it would be "hard" to get a new fireplace - we want an airtight style with a solid glass door... Every time I tried to get information it was met with some response about some fireplace attribute being impossible... After awhile of this bizarre debate, the rep finally agreed to take 100 bucks from me to have a technician come out, then saying it will cost between $10,000 and $13,000. All this from begrudgingly glancing at a picture of our old fireplace for two seconds. If your experience is different, I would LOVE to hear about it!

My parents took their stove in to have looked at because the front glass had broke. They said they wouldn't look at it if the glass was broke. So they drove to Quincy IL to have it repaired and when they returned to have the stove looked at they told them they wouldn't look at it because it didn't have the original glass. They should have communicated that upfront instead of sending some near 80 year old on a wild goose chase.
