Knowledgable curator and with so much history of area. It was so much fun exploring the museum.

Free, historical stop located by the pleasant town square park. It houses the usual variety of pioneer items. I especially liked the photography on display with us focus on photos of pioneers in front of their homes, many of which were "soddies," the local name for sod homes. (To see an actual soddy recently built, drive a few minutes east to the visitor center!)

There is a huge amount of local history here. Its amazing to see it all and what it takes to keep it available for everyone to remember just how the world has changed. Today we have so many things that make our lives easy . We can appreciate this more looking at how things came about .. everyone should check out this and any museum near them

Spent a day and a half absorbing our ancestor information that Tammy and her staff worked so hard to gather. It was a delightful experience and Tammy was a great help to us. Anyone searching for genealogy information for ancestors who may have passed through Nebraska, this is the place to start! Be sure to take time to peruse all the museum artifacts and the wonderful collection of Solomon Butcher photographs chronicling the early settlers of Nebraska.

For such a small county museum, the have amassed so many family records. Anyone researching a family member who lived in the county should try to make time here The friendly and knowledgeable staff will maked it worth my while.

The website said the Museum was open and hours were 10am to 5pm. We arrived at 10:45 and it was closed. Hours posted on the door are 1pm to 5pm. Disappointing!

Wonderful experience and very helpful staff. They have a great facility with a highly organized collection. If you have family history from this area definitely stop in and ask to see your family file!
