We are very pleased with our gorgeous kitchen bar top they made for us out of reclaimed barn wood. They made the whole process pleasant from start to finish. It was completed sooner than promised. Can’t wait until we can have them create a dining table to complement the bar top!

Over the past 5 years my wife and I have purchased numerous products from Reclaim Renew. The products are beautifully constructed and well built. On top of this, Barry and his staff's response and care for customers are top notch.

Working with this store started off great. However, it quickly ended badly! I used them as a secondary contractor. My primary contractor is wonderful. Thankfully so, because of the 11 pieces I ordered from ReclaimRenew, all 11 were wrong! My contractor had to fix every piece. We were also told 8-10 weeks for order to be ready. At 14 weeks, almost no pieces were ready which delayed my contractor. He wrote nothing down while in the store ordering. The staining was put on every piece instead of just 2 as asked. The finish on shelves was completely wrong. He changed the design of my bar without consulting me. While some things were fixed with resistance, some took 4 tries to get right. Then he implied I should pay more because of all his work! He gave excuses for everything that was wrong and never took responsibility for his errors. To top things off, he stopped communicating with me except by limited text because he didn't want to. He was mad for all his mistakes and took it out on me. My contractor reached out to him multiple times throughout the 2 month project and he was very difficult to get a response from. Below is a list of the pieces I ordered with what was incorrect about each one: 1) concrete top delivered: one smooth edge, 2 raw edges. Supposed to be raw edged. Set us back 5 days. 2) Bench sloppily stained. Drip marks noted when opening bench. Didn't stain top because I was using a bench cushion. Only stained it after being asked. Had to re-stain inside myself to cover drip marks. 3) Used cheap drawer glides. Drawers difficult to open and close now that loaded with bar wear. Supposed to be quiet glide. They are, but now do not work loaded. 4) Length and color of shelves wrong. Again, he changed design without asking. Took 4 tries to get color to match other wood pieces he supplied. They were all supposed to be matched color except for stained bar and bench. 5) Bar design eventually fixed to almost match my design, but out shelves vs inner shelves reversed so no way to repair. Now cannot use top center shelf for much. My contractor had to fix the lighting holes, restain and cut off many of shelves because Barry(owner) was angry. It was his mistake! 6) Mantle supposed to be natural wood. Came stained grey. He fixed and when refinished, mantle noted to have large visible seam in it. He brought iron brackets to hide it. But the 2 sets he brought were measured wrong and did not fit! He made mantle, he should know how to fit them. My contractor had to fit them. 7) Did not make black iron supports adjustable for ceiling as discussed in store. My contractor had to spend hours fixing these as a result. My ceiling height varied making this a necessity. 8) He left one whole side of room order off bid. Floating shelves to match everything else. Said we never talked about those. Yet my contractor and I were both there and remember discussing. Tried for several days to get him to make them or supply wood for my contractor to make. He didn't respond and then once he figured out my contractor would make them he started answering and saying he could make them. My contractor made them and they are more beautiful than any piece ReclaimRenew made. 9) Ordered wood for wall and wrong amount was brought. Then charged us for more. 10) Level of professionalism was terrible. This guy clearly has too many irons in the fire. I even brought materials back to his workshop to help save time. He stopped meeting me and sent someone else because he didn't want to "deal" with me. Blamed me for missing his kids events when he was fixing his own mistakes. I would avoid using this overpriced company at all costs!
